Switching PMax from Max Conversions to Max Conversion Value

Posted by Consistent-Tiger-660 on October 25, 2022 at 8:59 pm

We’re an ecom brand currently using Performance Max at a cost of about $5k/day across a few campaigns (different countries).

We’re setup with Max Conversions (although our products have different values) and we’re seeing a ROAS around 2…we’re okay keeping ROAS around 2 since we are happy with the CAC and LTV, but I’d like to scale this even more…

When trying to scale above this by increasing budget, we’re seeing significantly diminishing returns.

I also tested tCPA, but that just ran it’s typical course and conversions dipped.

Since we have so much conversion data, would it be worthwhile to switch to Max Conversion Value to continue scaling?

Any other suggestions on how to continue scaling these campaigns?

    Thanks!

You could look at Max Conversion Value and see if that helps.

Maybe how you have SKU broken out is limiting how much you can scale. Maybe a tweak in campaign structure would help. Can also look at adding standard shopping into mix. Maybe there are SKUs and or countries where standard shopping would do a better job over PMax.

Can also re-look at the shopping feed and see if there is an opportunity to optimize it to find more search traffic volume. This can add more traffic if the shopping feed has not been touch in 6+ months.
