Supplement Google ads with FB?
We’ve been running a feed only PMax campaign alongside YouTube remarketing and a brand search campaign for an e-commerce store. We have around 500 products and wondering what type of supplemental campaigns on FB would work best?
I’ve set up a couple of remarketing/retargeting campaigns on FB for add to cart/abandoners and viewers but nothing in the awareness or traffic driving sections. I assume running some colder traffic funneling through to the site may allow Google to capture this audience and start to see our ads more around the net.

Yep, remarketing is your first stop on FB.
You might also try advertising your top sellers to lookalike (buyer) audiences and see how that goes as a next step. This is particularly effective for impulse buys.
And yes, any traffic you get to the site will presumably end up in your Google dynamic remarketing channel.
If you sell higher ticket items you might consider more of a funnel approach with a few steps including branding.
