Story caused account to be flagged on IG and lowered in feed, will it ever recover?
Title says it all. I shared a story about Meta AI, and it flagged me.
What do I do/will it recover?

Same exact thing happened to me yesterday – reshared a story about art-related AI and now my account is flagged… I deleted the story immediately and deleted it from my archive but the yellow ! is still there under account status. I can’t find any real information about whether or not this will actually affect the account’s reach or not. Optimisitcally…it seems that sometimes they dont restrict reach unless you do this multiple times. Also, if they send you a notice that the account is restricted for 90days, then that definitely means the reach was lowered. As far as I can tell, it may not be a permanent reduction in reach. Im going to experiment soon with a post to see. This is, honestly, completely unjustified… as the story was a harmless notice about not wanting my info used by AI…
