Starting at social media marketing
I finished my marketing masters degree in September last year and since then have been looking into getting a job In marketing however based on my minimal work experience I’ve struggled to do so.
I’ve come to the realisation that doing some small business social media account management would definitely be beneficial but I’m struggling to find a business that would take me on for this role.
I’m just wondering if anyone has any suggestions or places where I’d be able to get into this?
I’ve tired to get in touch with a few businesses in the rural area where I grew up however they either don’t think they need social media or they seem to think the offer of 250 pounds a month is far too much.
I’m posting this today to see if anyone has any suggestions or can point me in the right direction.

Maybe you could offer to assist a charity in pro-bono project just to have experience with outcomes in your resume.
