For general management, I would recommend Metricool! They have a lot of great features across the board.

Some of my simple but effective editing tools? I use capcut, canva, and the general tools. I’m not a huge editor, but these do the job!

If you have lots (i.e., 40 or more) of social media profiles across lots of networks and you want to group them by client, team, region, etc, then check out MavSocial. It also has ads editors++

For managing your accounts and scheduled posts, I’m the co-founder of a social media scheduling tool called OneUp.

OneUp supports posting to FB, IG, X, Pinterest, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and Google Business Profiles.

OneUp also has a team member feature, where you can add as many team members as you want to your OneUp account, and then assign specific social accounts to specific team members.

You can grant granular permissions too. For example, you could require that all of Person A’s posts need to be approved by an admin before they can be posted. But for Person B (who maybe you trust more), you could allow them to schedule and publish posts without needing approval.

Personally, I’ve found that using tools like Canva for graphic design and video editing. If you need more advanced graphic design and video editing capabilities, Adobe Spark is a powerful yet accessible tool. It’s perfect for creating engaging content.

Hootsuite or Buffer for general account management. They allow you to schedule posts, track engagement, and manage multiple platforms from a single dashboard. The choice between them often comes down to personal preference.

For me, I found my groove using Buffer for analytics and scheduling – keeps everything neat and tidy. Canva for design; the versatility is unmatched. But when it comes to spicing up my content game, Boost App Social’s been my secret sauce for content creation. Stories, reels, captions, you name it.

You thinking of themed content or going with the flow?
