SKAGs in 2020
Hi guys
I’ve been involved with SEO for a long time and have recently been given a PPC campaign to manage. It was going relatively well but the CPCs and Quality score weren’t great, so I’ve changed over to the SKAG method and it’s too early to tell but QS and CPCs are decreasing. At the moment I have exact, phrase and BMM in the same ad group. Is this going to be asking for problems long term? Would it be better to have say 5-8 tightly themes keywords (exact only) in an ad group and replicate this themed ad group in a separate BMM campaign with the same replicated ad group as in the exact match campaign? I’d then add the exacts to the BMM as negatives.
