Should we run a retargeting ad on facebook?

Posted by No-Bookkeeper196 on December 11, 2022 at 4:33 pm

Hello guys I’m selling an online course on facebook and it’s a course which is in good demand so there are multiple people selling course for this topic now it’s not feasible to compete on price of the course because if you lower it down than someone will decrease the price further.

Currently I’m just breaking even but not profiting so i read somewhere that retargeting ad is the most profitable on facebook so i just want to know whether running retargeting ad is a profitable exercise or not… And do you guys run retargeting ad on facebook?

    Any advice would be appreciated.

I agree with the other comment, there is only one way to find out.

In my experience, I have seen good ROAS from a remarketing campaign but it involves a few things: good audience, good artwork, good copy and a great offer.

You may not be able to compete on pricing, so look at adding value in ways other people aren’t. Say you’re selling a cooking course, what would be cool is to offer people that purchase your course a 5 or 10% discount from an affiliate store like a store that sells cooking ingredients or cooking equipment etc. That way you add value and not cutting your price.

    Good luck!

Mostly retargeting ads have good ROAS than any other ads, just because you are targeting an already aware customer

But, just running retargeting ads cannot be effective, if your messaging and ad do not move the people down the funnel

So, your creative, landing page should ideally be different fro retargeting audience and normal audience
