  • Should I start a Youtube channel

    Hey guys,
I own a instagram account with 2.9k followers. I post F1 edits, predictions, and stuff like that. I’m thinking of making a YouTube channel for my account and just scheduling all my edits to post on it and see what happens. What do you guys think? Would this be a good idea?

Do you guys also know any programs where I can cross post between instagram and YouTube that can be used for free instead of doing it manually?

    Thanks

    Sure!
You just have to get the information and do your your research

F1 is oversaturated on YouTube and tons of people are dominating that realm. You will get like 100 views on each video tops. The fact that your IG is under 3k just shows it’s not super compelling content, so YouTube would just bury your content without viewer engagement.

Here’s what I would suggest doing first (as a social media professional)

    * Survey your audience to decipher whether they also frequent YouTube and to understand what kind of content they consume there
    * Begin sharing your reels on a cross platform base, sharing them as shorts on YouTube to test your potential audience
    * Develop a solid YouTube strategy complete with a posting schedule and content ideas

If by the end of this you don’t see much worth in it, then I wouldn’t go ahead and start making long form YouTube content

I think there is no harm in starting a YT channel. Definitely make sure that your audience is there though. Just typing in keywords in the YT search bar can tell you a lot!

If you are posting shorts, you can use Metricool! I use it to cross post my tiktoks to reels and shorts. I think you can post longer YT videos on there too but haven’t tried that much.
