Should I isolate my personal and my NGO twitter accounts
Hello. I am trying to make a difference in the environment of Bengaluru and am working on it through an NGO I have created.
An NGO has to work in close collaboration with the government, donors and activists. Therefore I try to never post anything personal or controversial in the NGO handle. But I personally believe that we all have a great responsibility to improve society and we shouldn't sit silent and hope the mess goes away by itself as it will not.
Will the content posted on my personal Twitter account affect my NGO? And what should I do to ensure this is reduced as far as possible? For instance, in my personal account I have removed all mentions that I am running the NGO.
Advice from someone with knowledge of social media marketing will be very useful. Thanks a lot in advance for your guidance.
