  ‘Shadow banning’?

  Does X/Twitter ‘shadowban’ you for posting a video using a YouTube link? Is it preferable to post videos directly to X/FaceBook etc.?

  Every platform will favor content that is built for their platform specifically – this includes uploading content directly to their platform, not linking out to it.

  They don’t direct more traffic to those linked videos because they know it’s taking traffic away from their site.
