  • SEO Experts List, who do you rate the most with their advice?

Trying to get myself a list of people that generally run successful sites and the real deal with SEO expertise and have a youtube channel worth subscribing and learning from.

    I’ve got up to now

    \- Brian Dean

    \- Matt Diggity

    \- Authority Hacker

    \- Adam Enfroy

    \- Julian Goldie

I’ve recently found Jessie Cunningham but on the fence with this one as he seems to be one that pushes courses, is he a expert would you say with solid advice.

Any I’ve missed off that you feel give the best advice and not just trying to sell a course for a near on a thousand bucks.

Being honest, I would have to rate myself higher than everyone you just mentioned on that list as a proven SEO expert. I don’t have a dedicated Youtube channel though!

Literally anyone selling courses is shit.

If you knew your shit, you’d make much more actually doing SEO than you would selling courses. Do the math, girlfriend.

Steve Toth’s email list is well worth joining.

    Kevin Indig’s as well.

They aren’t “Experts”. Probably good with some techniques but not in the category of experts.

Just read books and focus on one thing and master it, whether it’s On-page, off-page, technical, Ecom etc it’s your choice and 7 – 8 years from now, you will be counted as an expert. But don’t try to master everything as it is not possible to become an “expert” in all fields.

I’ve been following Chris Hughes of ‘A Nerd’s World’, Nathan Gotch and some Josh Buschinsky, watched countless videos on Seo and read articles on Search Engine Journal’s website (to name one), busy with google skillshop amd hubspots’ seo tutorials and courses.

My conclusion is that most of the ‘info’ on Seo out there pushes somebody’s money making idea – not all necessarily wrong but dished up in a confusing way.

Seo, stripped down, to me means you need to make sure the website works for the users and technically correct + build the brand out in all on-and-off–site activities you do on said website. There is no easy shortcut or copy-and-paste way. Seo work should be custom to the client you’re doing it for.

Myself. Own experience of two decades is worth more than Guru advice. Not saying these guys don’t know their business, but nothing beats hands on experience.

SEO Conspiracy needs new content, but existing videos are very much relevant

this makes me feel **old**. i’ve never followed or watched any seo content on YT. it’s just not a natural place for me to get that info. imho twitter/x is still where the real accessible experts are, and somewhat still (mostly lurking) at forums like webmasterworld. follow seo folk, see if they make sense. see if they are coming up with their own hypothesis, running their own tests – walking the walk. self-proclaimed experts are not experts. they are regurgitating old generic stuff that real experts figured out. paid for SEO courses are BS. dyor.

I bought Adam Enfroy’s course. While there are a few good things in it, I do not recommend buying his course.
