  • Seeking Advice on Content Strategy for My YouTube and Instagram Channels

Posted by Smart_Ad1372 on August 8, 2024 at 6:58 pm

I'm an entrepreneur and I own a print store. Recently, I've been working to grow my YouTube and Instagram channels, where I share content about my lifestyle, adventures in the print industry, my dog, and travel. I also have a business page with around 2400 followers, while my personal account has about 1800 followers.

However, I'm currently struggling to decide on a clear direction for my content. I want to create videos and posts that are not only valuable but also relatable to a wide audience.

Here's a bit more about me and my content so far:

    • Entrepreneurial Journey: Behind-the-scenes looks at running a print shop and a sign company. As a first-generation immigrant working in a family business that's been running for 17 years, I plan to keep it going. I just recently turned 30.
    • Print Industry Insights: Tips, tricks, and fun facts about printing and branding.
    • Lifestyle Vlogs: My day-to-day life, including workouts, running, and spending time with my family and dog.
    • Travel: Sharing my travel experiences and adventures.

I would love to hear your thoughts on the type of content that could help me grow my audience. Should I focus more on my entrepreneurial journey, industry insights, lifestyle vlogs, or perhaps a combination of these? Any specific content ideas or tips on how to make my videos more engaging would be greatly appreciated.

The biggest thing for me is creating more valuable content. I'm unsure if that means focusing more on lifestyle content or taking a more professional consultant-type approach. I also get a lot of reach on my business account as well.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Here’s just some quick thoughts but if you want a little more context feel free to reach out…

**1. Tell Your Story or Tell the Businesses Story:** You need to decide if the story you want to tell is about your entrepreneurial journey or the journey of scaling a family business. Both of them have some interesting ideas that I would love to go into further,

**2. Find Your Why:** Take some time to really sitdown and map out your goals, objectives, and brand direction. I would suggest the book SUPERFANS by Pat Flynn to help create a strategy.

Like I said, I can definitely help with crafting a strategy to feel free to connect.
