  • Seeking Advice: How Much Should I Charge for Promotion?

Posted by Indie_music_vinyls on May 28, 2024 at 2:58 pm

    Hey everyone,

I need some advice! I run a vinyl record blog on Instagram with 25k followers, and my content has reached 2.8 million accounts with 3.7 million impressions in the last 3 months.

I've never charged for promotion before, but now that my reels are gaining traction, I'm not sure what to do. Should I start charging brands for promotion? If so, how much should I charge? For context, I'm considering offering stories for free but charging for reels.

Any tips or insights would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance for your help!

Consider charging $100-$500 per reel, depending on engagement and brand’s budget.

Impressive! more impressive people still follow vinyl!

I’d suggest different levels for different type of clients is it an artist or a shop or a distributor or a label. they probably have all different needs.

I cannot help you with prices, but I can give you a tip based on the successful accounts my friend owns. The main thing is to stay authentic. Your audience loves and trusts you, and they will be very disappointed if you start promoting random things.

So, just promote something that you sincerely believe is good and can solve a problem for your audience. Otherwise, you risk “selling your soul” and losing the people who love your creativity.

    Good luck!
