Safety wise: What’s the best way to get acces to our clients social accounts?
Hi there!
In March 2022, me and my business partner started a small social media agency. We mainly manage and create content for LinkedIn / Facebook / Instagram.
We have about 15 clients and growing steadily. We’ve learned a lot in 6 months and we are trying to professionalise and optimise our workflow now. Last week one of us lost our phone and that scared the shit out of us! Because one way or another. Your personal account is always connected to the accounts of our clients right? Be it LinkedIn or FB/IG.
What we do now:
FB / IG – We ask for acces via Facebook Business to their Facebook Business account. But our personal accounts still have acces to our Facebook Business account as employees.
If clients don’t have a FB business account, wich suprisingly are a lot… We ask for full acces on our personal accounts.LinkedIn: We ask clients to add our personal accounts as super admin.
We are trying out the LinkedIn business manager atm but you have to add the owner of the page to the business manager as well or we have to ask for ownership of the page. It’s a little confusing to us.Safety wise, other than not losing your phone ofcourse…. what would be the best way to get acces to you clients accounts and what are we doing wrong?
We could also get hacked or something. We have 2 step verification on all our accounts btw.
