  Running Captions and audio completely different a worthwhile strategy?

  I just ran across a video of an influencer that’s running a video with captions and audio giving completely different speeches. They both align, but when clicked on to listen my brain malfunctioned trying to process what was going on at the same time.
  Is this a common thing, genius or stupid?

  Misleading & particularly messed up for people who need accurate captions to understand videos
