Hello, all. I am looking at SEO tools to help local businesses grow. I have studied SEO extensively in the past, but I have never actually done any substantial SEO work. I am considering getting into this heavily, but I want to use the right tools. Does anyone have any experience with WebCEO? Is it still relevant to the current SEO environment? I would love to hear your thoughts!

I talk to a lot of SEOs. I haven’t talked to one in the past 10 years that has ever mentioned using WebCEO.

    Hello,

I haven’t heard of that tool before but have used and currently pay for many SEO tools. Honestly depending on how many clients you have, you really only need a few things. I recommend Googles keyword planner for keyword research, along with SEMrush which you can pay someone on fiverr to pull reports.

For Onpage SEO, I recommend a site auditing software like Agency Analytics or Moz. Agency Analytics also has a keyword ranking and reporting software so I use that for both. For getting your current title tags and meta descriptions you can use Screaming Frog for free. I would also recommend Google search Console which is free.

Alongside WebCEO, I suggest trying SEMrush for detailed SEO analysis and Ahrefs for checking backlinks. These tools are popular and can give you useful tips to boost your local business online.

I’ve never heard about WebCEO… unless they’re a new company (by looking at their website design they’re not), there probably is a reason why we all know ahrefs, semrush, et al and not WebCEO.
