Restarting with meta
meta business suite truly offers a hellish user experience. endless circular unhelpful links. they are always sending you somewhere else but will never let you leave.
I had created a couple business accounts a few months back and attached them to my FB account, but never developed them or spent money on ads. The accounts are now restricted and ads disabled. Now, I can’t delete the accounts, can’t remove payment method, can’t add or remove myself as admin. I feel like my whole FB account and instagram are now flagged.
This morning, I tried to register a new instagram account on the app from my phone and after registering the name (safe name), the account was immediately disabled for violating terms of service. click learn more> Your account has been deleted for “not following our terms” (You won’t be able to log into this account and no one else will be able to see it. We’re unable to restore accounts that are deleted for these types of violations.)
a couple questions:
1. Is there a way to start over with my Meta account or any services that help clean accounts?
2. when will the instagram username i tried to register this morning become available again?

Sorry, which I could help you. Just wanted to affirm that the Meta experience truly is hellish. I’m building a startup and we’ve been some some Instagram marketing, and it’s amazing just how hard it is to get going and how many times we’ve messed up because of the UX.

The best part is… they have to constantly run a disclaimer that the IOS14 update ruined the game. Hate their entire ecosystem of garbage user experience.

Any guess/hint as to why the accounts might be restricted? Any specific objective you were trying to achieve they didn’t like?
Any alternative service to use instead of them like YouTube, then use FB only for sharing, i.e. minimizing the use of FB?
