Resources on Types of Content?
Looking for books/resources that discuss types of content (FB posts, mostly) that engage followers. Looking for psychological insights, really.
For example, I’m an author. Rather than bombarding followers with encouragement to buy my books, I’m looking to keep them engaged them, keep them interested in me and my work, get them to share my posts, etc. In other words, I’m looking to grow a receptive audience.
I’ve studied other authors’ pages, but my comps generally came to FB as a “big name”, so attracting followers wasn’t much of a climb for them.
Any resources that address this topic?

Have you considered using quizzes or interactive polls on your posts to engage your followers?

Make a spreadsheet.
pillars (educational, feature, POV, quotes, summary) , type of visual (static, carousel, video), kind of post (regular, paid ads, promo)
events related to your niche/business
holidays related to your business
importance of what you’re trying the give the audience
value of product/service/hobby
