You can join the email list of big players of SEO niche. These will be Ahrefs, Semrush, searchengine journal. I think these three are good enough to learn about basic and advanced SEO stuff.

These three will have a similar pattern of writing like a commercial business blog. If you want to join a different writing style then search for “underwp blog” and join their blog as they are trying to move away from the traditional SEO writing style and bringing in more writers who are advanced. I write there too myself sometimes as they are open for accepting good content posts.

For YouTube channels, I think ahrefs got a pretty good one but more focused towards beginners. I would suggest you join more subreddits than YouTube as some of the subreddits are so valuable here like “technicalseo”.

If you follow the most followed sources (big players of the SEO niche), your efforts will be average, because everyone else is doing the same thing.

By the time the “popular” sources publish their seo/case studies/experiments, those techniques are diluted.

Find alternative tools to use and wield them for success.

I’m not going to mention the tools I use because they keep me ahead of everyone else. In addition, I coded my own crawler, and use it and some API’s to evaluate competitor sites.

You really need to take it to the next level on your own and not rely on what the most popular source of SEO information is.
