  Remembering the Instagram of 2016 – a beacon of activity and engagement.

  I can’t help but feel nostalgic for Instagram’s 2016 era. The activity, engagement, and social dynamics were unparalleled. The activity tab, a key catalyst for interaction, is a feature I sorely miss.

  Does anyone else wish for those days?

  If Instagram or WhatsApp wasn’t brought by Facebook, they would be much better.

  At least we have r/PixelFed and r/signal which are much better options.

  Not really. 2016 was a great year in my memories for a whole bunch of reasons but the state of social media is not one of them.
