    Hi everyone,

I posted a picture of my new work van, with a caption about being ready to hit the road again after being out of Service. Now.. I'm not sure how or why but google decided to reject the post and turn off posting entirely for me. Wtf? I'd appreciate it if anyone could clarify this for me… the caption was "Great news everyone! Keys O'Callaghan Locksmiths are back on the road and ready for action. Text …" I'm pretty over google at this point.

Usually you can appeal their decision, so a human will review the picture and revise the decision within 24-48hrs. Happens quite frequently. No idea about the reason for rejecting it, I guess the algo got something wrong.

The phrase, “ready for action” probably tripped an automated filter of some sort… if you request a review/appeal, they’ll probably fix it.

Was it posted in GMB? They usually reject posts with phone numbers… U didn’t even use any abusive words as well.. Was it rejected when you tried to upload it or it was removed later… If it was removed when you tried to upload, it could be due to error. Appeal to them. I have faced similar issue with many of our client GMB profiles.

Probably because of the ‘text…’ part, Google thinks it’s spam or lead gen.

Appeal. Google does weird stuff sometimes. A couple years ago, I posted a picture of pumpkins and got banned for promoting sales of endangered animals. It came off after I appealed it within 2 weeks iirc
