    Quick question about google ads

Posted by seohelper on May 14, 2020 at 2:43 am

    Hello,

Is it possible to set a perimeter for conversions for example if a user schedules a demo after clicking an ad and only then for me to get charged?

I tried looking this up and what I found that it’s possible for display ads if a user purchases but can it be done for search ads?

So you want to pay only when the user schedules a demo (conversion)?

Yes, that’s possible. It’s through Target CPA bidding strategy, but the problem is you need to run campaigns for good amount of time before this bidding strategy starts working. In other words, the system needs lot of data to be able to work with CPA bidding model.

A Target CPA strategy will give the ad platform a goal for how much you want to pay for each conversion and it will try to get you close to that, on average.

But you will still be billed on either a click or an impression basis. Google Ads does not offer any way for you to pay on the exact conversion.

The ad platform did the work of showing the ad to the right person. It is up to your website to convince the person to fill out your form or complete a purchase, so they can’t charge you based on that.
