[PSA] I warned you: “Google Indexing API Submissions Go Undergo Rigorous Spam Detection
Google has updated its Indexing API documentation to add a few things but the largest update talks about how "all submissions through the Indexing API undergo rigorous spam detection." Plus, it says that attempts to abuse the Indexing API "may result in access being revoked."

My only surprise is that it took this long.

Well I’m glad that I set out from the start to my boss that “we could abuse it, with more accounts” but i rather limit it to half the quota. Google hasn’t flagged any of my projects yet though, i hope they don’t the whole reason why I even use the api was to save hours at work. My boss still believes in manual indexing, and no one could convince him it didn’t work until I used the api to automate the indexing.
