What do I do? Extorted on Instagram
I was extorted with explicit pictures on my Instagram. I permanently deleted my account. The scammer is sending the photos to everyone on my friends and follower list. He already did it a few times.
Once I delete my account permanently, can he still add my followers to a group message he made that it’s on and send more?

I think you should go to your local police department and report this. That is a crime punishable by jail time, and I hope that that person gets what they deserve.. I’m sorry that you’re dealing with this, that’s really sad and I hope you can heal from this.

Sadly there’s no way to prevent it from sending it to your friends or family.
The only play you can do in that kind of situations is to never pay. Once you pay it’s over, they know they can extort you as long as they wish. Act as if you don’t give a f… if they sense that they cannot extort you they will go and search for another victim.
These fuckers run this as a business, they have to report to a boss and meet numbers daily, if they know you will not pay they will leave you alone.Explain what’s happening to the persons important in your life and what will possibly happen. Don’t let this ruin your mental health, it’s not the end of the world. If you’re young, talk asap with your parents.
