This is your sign to stop underestimating Pinterest; it’s one of the most underrated yet effective platforms for driving organic traffic to your blog.

On March 14, 2024, I started a Pinterest account for my blog. I had zero followers and had never posted. A couple of months and 742 pins later, I’m at over 10 million monthly views and 1900 followers. I’m only getting about 15k outbound clicks but I think this can be attributed to my inconsistency. I had not been consistent till last month when I stated pinning 10-20 times a day.

With proper Pinterest SEO, you can achieve similar results in no time. Given the constant Google updates, it’s crucial to also have social media traffic.

By pinning down you mean you’re posting 10-20 a day? If so, wow that’s a lot of pins and I imagine you have a lot of content to be shuffling that sort of consistency with your pin posting.

This is a fantastic idea, what kind of content is your blog about if you don’t mind me asking. I’m trying to figure out if it would make sense to try this strategy

Pinterest SEO also boosted every Keyword on Google for me. Pinned about 1400 Pins in 40 Days and get 250-300 daily outbound clicks from Pinterest.

That sounds really interesting and congrats on the results! If you do have only 40 blog posts. Do you really create so many pins for a single article? Is it not a bad sign if you link so many times to an article? I am new to the SEO business, but I would expect that these many links in a short period of time are quite „spammy“. Feel free to correct me, it I am wrong.

I’m on Pinterest and I get mad amount of visitors every day. Also, you never know which pins will perform better. I created a board as a hobby and thought no one would be interested but it one of my most visited and saved boards.

Curious, hows the average time spent of the users coming to your blog? Do they come and just quickly exit or do they tend to spend time on site?

I understand alot depends on UI/UX, but im more interested about the quality of the traffic.

Thanks for sharing this, but what is the right SEO for Pinterest? Are you using a personal or business account? We want your experience using Pinterest.
