Performance Max Account Average ROAS
Hi Guys
I’ve been looking at options to better optimize my Performance Max campaigns that I have been running for several months and I noticed that when setting the ROAS for conversion value it recommends to set it at 380%. Should I go off the google recommendation?
Also what would happen if I changed to Max conversions? I’ve read that your supposed to set it to Max conversions when starting the campaign, but it seems to blow the budget. and any other recommendations for performance max?

Never go by what Google recommends

Recommendations by Google are 95% not helpful, and only a way for Google to earn more
Also, PMax campaign requires a lot of patience, moving to ROAS bidding is not recommended until you have consistency in conversions which takes about 6 weeks

Figure out a segmentation that works for you so you can maximize value at or above roas. Exclude items if necessary and test assets.
