  • Pages vs Posts: What Ranks Better in 2024?

You need to rank for Blue Widgets, Best Blue Widgets or Bobby's Blue Widget Review. Do you publish them as posts or pages on your WP site?

Posts come with an author bio, date, etc. Pages tend to not have any author bylines on most websites (although I'm aware you can add them manually).

    What do you guys prefer?

I’d go for posts. They offer more room for you to rank for other related keywords. And of course you can offer more tailored value to your audience on posts than pages.

Anything can have anything. The only difference is the design… that you can change however you want.

It doesn’t matter. They are both just HTML / CSS as far as search engines are concerned.

Posts vs pages are more of a backend organization thing.

It’s easier to create archives / categories with posts than it is with pages.

If you want to apply my strategy of the Topical Mesh, it’s mandatory to use pages. Internal links are really powerful, but they must be used wisely.

Relationships between pages is predicated on semantics and posts are ranked by date. When you play with who is in relation to what, dates are not relevant.

Create this title **Blue Widgets**, **Best Blue Widgets** or **Bobby’s Blue Widget Review**

Minmal content, rank it on Reddit.
