Optimizing Multilingual URLs for Better SEO
I’m in the process of overhauling a client’s website based in Thailand, which is relatively new and struggling with page rankings.
The current URL structure looks like this:
* Thai version: /new-post-th
* English version: /en/new-postConsidering the site’s low traffic and poor rankings, I’m debating whether to streamline the Thai URLs by removing the “-th” suffix and implementing 301 redirects.
What are your thoughts on the best approach to optimize these multilingual URLs for SEO purposes? Should I restructure or keep them unchanged?
