    Hello all,
Due to the October updates one of my older articles was hit hard and lost its ranking. Ok moving on
What should be the best move?
\-Update the older article with new content in hopes it regains ranking
\-Make a new article with a new similar URL that includes updated content but has the same tone and layout.
Also, the old article was deemed not suitable for discovery a couple of months back but still held its ranking before the October update.
Dont think the page has any backlinks going to it besides my own.

    Thanks!

Any pages that are not at the top of the search engines most probably have less authority than they need. There’s a chance you have a penalty or a technical error, but it’s probably a lack of authority.

The solution to your problem is getting authority. This comes from getting links from authoritative websites.
