Not sure if blocked or deleted profile
I had a friend I lost touch with for a few years. Didn’t argue. Natural drift due to life. Anyway my issue is I was thinking of them and sent them a message. However, they have no Facebook profile. The message sent normally ect there profile picture is still there. But no profile to view? It’s not even showing in searches. Please somebody share light. Because if I was blocked I wouldn’t be able to message them surely. But if they deleted the account why do they still have messager?

By default your messenger account stays live even if you deactivate your fb account. I don’t think most people (understandably) realize this. So if they deleted the apps off their phone the message will still send but it will sit unread until they open messenger/reactivate their fb.
Source: i am that person without a fb account but you can still send me messages even tho i don’t have the messenger app
