Non-profit strategy ?
Hello fellow social media specialists !
I’m working for a (French – so excuse my bad English) non profit organization but we don’t take donations (we’re attached to a HUGE insurance company) and we fund scientific research to prevent from various risks (from the accidental fires of electric vehicles to seniors falling). Some of these research are very interesting and my job is just to make them known, emphasised on engagement rate and traffic to the website.
But I find it harder and harder to reach our ideal target on social media, being people interested in science and innovation.
We’re mostly present on Facebook with social ads and Twitter seems to let us down completely these days. On the other hand, we’re doing great on LinkedIn, so at least there’s that.
I’ve been working for this organization for 3 years and have changed the strategy a couple of times since then, but I feel kinda lost these days amongst the new TikTok tendencies and such, that – I don’t feel – meets our ideal audience.
Any idea of content, format or even social network I could try to make us live a little longer ?
