Has anyone else been experiencing a new type of shadow ban?

For example, you have 100K followers, you post a photo and only get around 40K engagement (which sounds great) but you used to get around 250K engagement.

Is it possible that they’re shadow banning certain profile’s content from being shown on the For You page?

Meaning only your current active followers are able to see your posts.

This is what’s happening to me currently. Ran multiple shadow ban tests and nothing shows up but my engagement is 10% of what it used to be.

    Thoughts?

Word on the proverbial street is that the bigger your follower count, the more they want you to be verified. They’re prioritizing verified accounts and large, unverified accounts are the warmest audience to get forced to get verified next (as opposed to people who rarely use the platform who are less likely to want to spend any $$)
