New Facebook Ad Account: Best way to do Interest Targeting?

Posted by seohelper on May 14, 2020 at 1:51 pm

    Hey guys!

I wanted your opinion on this.

I’m starting a new advertising account from scratch, when you had no data and you had to use interest based targeting: what has worked best for you?

I’ve tried to narrow/not to narrow down, tried different sizes (from 2 million to 41million), ect…

Anyways I’m just curious to know what works for you guys when getting started with a new ad account.

I always prefer audiences between 1-10 million. Usually I only use 1 interest and if its too big I narrow it down by either engaged shoppers or a similar interest, this tends to work very well for me. I always test multiple creatives and atleast 5 interests.

depends on the objective and the avg cpa of the vertical/product type. i try to aim for 2-3mm audience (before layers) because this is the typical size of a 1%lal
