New company has 0 followers on IG and about 200 on FB
I recently started a new job as in house social media manager for a brand new company. They had previously only focused on Amazon and shopify sales but are recently trying to Brand themselves.
Their have zero social media and I was called in to assist. I held a similar role for a much larger company for almost three years and my results spoke for themselves. My old boss is friends with the new boss and was apparently boasting about my work ethic to his friend and then he “poached” me.
Well, honestly, it’s been almost a week since I got there and since I am still trying to get content and set everything else, sometimes my brain blanks out. I run out of ideas suddenly. Any help pls to grow from 0 -

Growing from zero might be a difficult task and they need to know that and understand that it might take months to see any following growth or a heavy ad campaign budget of a few thousands a month to start getting some traction. And after u get at least 1k and u can see ur analytics then focus in on targeting and re targeting past customers and lookalike audiences

sounds like you’re off to a great start! it’s totally normal to feel overwhelmed at first, but you’ve got this. maybe start by researching what competitors are doing on social media and draw inspiration from successful campaigns. also, don’t be afraid to engage with your audience and ask for their input. good luck!
