Subdomain for sure. For example I use shop.brandname.com for e-commerce LP’s that are for ad traffic

Use the clients website. Your job to adapt. You don’t want send traffic especially high intent traffics off site.

Out of interest, why not Wix? What’s your preference and why?

I’ve been making my own site in Wix and its taken me a while to get used to but I think I’m doing okay (I don’t have much experience with landing pages other than using KickOffLabs) – WordPress was to difficult for me.

WIX is a lot better than it used to be, with that being said, I’d go for a subdomain over a new domain to maintain the brand.

Subdomain plus Unbounce ($99/ month intro tier could work well). Easy setup.

Depending on service, subdomain could be ‘try’, ‘get’, ‘go’ etc

Avoid Wix like the fricken plague. Horrible company. Move their hosting to something more reputable. WPEngine (if it’s hosted WordPress) or GoDaddy would be my prefs. The GoDaddy editor is actually decent.

My life changed two years ago with unbounce. Flexible for all the crap sites clients have.
