new business, running ppc, no sales still

Posted by ChazandGame on September 3, 2024 at 9:43 pm

Have been running SEO (My actual job IRL), have built my website from the ground up, am running PPC ads, but am yet to get my first sale. I sell car clothing, have an average click through rate of 7%, but can't seem to get any sales. When i ask for opinions on my website/clothing, people say its amazing, but i really dont know… if anyone wants to check it out, would realy appreciate it.

The site is https://carclothing.co.uk/ Dont be too harsh tho! still early days

Super slow website, above the fold there is no indication of clothing it being a clothing brand. Where are you running traffic to? Is it a separate landing page to a product? Is it search ads, shopping ads?

What is your budget, how long have you been running ads and what have you spent?

Yup your focused on preclick media like CTR and CPC. You should be focused on conversion rates and optimizing to high volume of ATC, IC. Also it sounds like your doing max clicks instead of max conversions.

    1. Super slow website.

    2. I understand its car themed clothing but my 1st reaction to the website was “is this a car dealership?”

    3. I think you need to replace most of the generic car images with our products, for example the stylish hoodies image is a back car in the forest.

Can you tell us more about the PPC campaign?

u/maxxxxtro has pretty much laid down interesting top-level insights, which one can share without knowing much about your campaigns. You should not expect many people to convert on such a slow website.

I’m not sure if you’re using shopping campaigns, but if you’re not definitely try them. Also make sure, you’re landing people exactly on the product page and not on the category page.

Focus on Optimizing your conversion by maybe enhancing your product page, make it more engaging and also advertised your product to the right audience. Try to increase your bid so that it will be highly competitive amongst your competitors.
