New account followed 2000 people over the course of two weeks, will I get shadowbanned?
I’ve done this over the course of 2 weeks and I’ve gained roughly 700 followers and my engagement is very good I’ve mainly been following people in my niche.. anyways today for the first time I received notification from Instagram saying they limit certain things etc so I’m temporarily blocked from following anymore people…. Will this have a permanent affect on my account? Like a shadowban or is this just a warning I don’t intend to follow anymore accounts

Again would like to clarify this is the first warning I recieved from instagram I don’t Intend to follow anymore accounts I just wanted to build an initial audience

it might result in shadowbanning, due to the algorithm they use for scanning any in-human behavior. always try to scan your account for shadowbanning or risky behavior. search on google shadowban calculator

I think you should be fine, it’s like your first warning. I think following a large number ofaccounts within a short period of time can trigger Instagram’s spam filters,and if Instagram suspects that you are spamming, it may shadowban your account, eventually. However, it’s difficult to predict with certainty whether or not you will be shadowbanned, as Instagram’s algorithm and spam filters work in mysterious ways.
I would avoid excessive actions such as following and unfollowing a large number of accounts in a short period of time. If you’re concerned about the possibility of being shadowbanned, it’s a good idea to take a break from following accounts for awhile and focus on creating high-quality content andengaging with your existing followers.
