  • Need suggestions on what to do with my blog

About niche – it is a physical product (fitness category) and has average (semrush) kd of around 30. The product has many variations, price starts from 50 and goes upto and above 1000usd

I started a niche blog 2 months ago, wrote about 20 blog posts (all informational), with a sole purpose of making good money (at least 200$ a month) but after watching videos on youtube and following twitter, I came up with a thought that it will take atleast a year only to get to 200 a month. The worse part is that i have to work actively the hole year.

Every blog post I wrote took me a whole day work in which I did research to comeup with unique latest information on the topic, included research papers and survey reports even though the target keywords were high kd.

At this point I am looking for suggestions to share from your experience what should I do next. I cannot spend 4 5 hours every day on something that will pay me 200 a month a year from now. I don’t want to quit too as that would waste my 2 months of hard work.

Tell me if I am doimg this all wrong and there is a smarted way of doing it. Tell me if there is an AI (actually intelligent) that can atleast follow the outline because gpt 3 can’t do it

It’s understandable that you’re feeling frustrated right now. It can be tough to stick with something that’s not showing immediate results, especially when you’re putting in a lot of hard work.

Here are a few suggestions for what you can do next:

**Focus on quality over quantity.** It’s better to write fewer, high-quality blog posts than a lot of low-quality blog posts. Make sure your posts are well-researched, informative, and engaging.

**Target the right keywords.** When you’re writing your blog posts, make sure you’re targeting keywords that are relevant to your niche and that people are actually searching for. You can use a keyword research tool like Google Keyword Planner to help you find the right keywords.

**Promote your blog.** Once you’ve written a blog post, don’t just sit back and wait for people to find it. Promote your blog on social media, other websites, and forums.

**Be patient.** It takes time to build a successful blog. Don’t expect to start making money overnight. Just keep writing high-quality content and promoting your blog, and you will eventually start to see results.

As for AI, there are a few AI tools that can help you with your blog. For example, Jasper AI can help you write blog posts, come up with ideas, and generate headlines. However, it’s important to note that AI tools are not a replacement for human judgment. You should always proofread and edit any content that is generated by AI.

Here are a few additional tips:

**Monetize your blog in multiple ways**. Don’t rely on just one source of income. You can monetize your blog through affiliate marketing, advertising, or selling your own products or services.

**Build an email list.** An email list is a great way to stay in touch with your readers and promote your content. You can offer a freebie or discount to encourage people to sign up for your email list.

**Outreach to other bloggers.** One of the best ways to get traffic to your blog is to reach out to other bloggers in your niche and guest post on their blogs. This will help you to expose your blog to a new audience.

Blogging can be a great way to make money, but it’s important to be patient and put in the work. If you’re willing to do that, you can eventually build a successful blog that generates a significant income.

    Thanks!

Please don’t take this as insulting; I am legitimately asking.

If you are selling a fitness product, why did it take you a day of research to write an article? How long have you been in the fitness industry?

Let me give you an example. I have run an SEO agency for 14 years. I could write articles essentially non-stop without researching anything because it’s been my life for 14 years.

What I am trying to say, is, if you are having to do this much research just to write an article, is it possible you are in the wrong niche? Please forget everything above this point if you love doing it. You made it sound from your thread that you are not enjoying this.

With that being said, SEO is about ranking and getting to the first page of the search engines. SEO itself is fairly easy… you build authority by getting backlinks from authoritative websites. When you have enough authority, you will rank well. This is what SEO is. Your content, ultimately, *does not help you rank* although it is very important for users. In other words, your articles could be garbage, and you would rank the same as if they were wonderful. DO NOT WRITE BAD ARTICLES. I’m just providing this as an example.

I’m not sure what you’re looking at on YouTube or Twitter. I want to tell you now that 99% of the people you talk to online about SEO are liars and scammers. Most people have no clue how SEO works, and most of these people are the people selling courses. 99% of SEO providers are scammers, too. So above, where I said you need backlinks, make note that 99% of the people you see selling backlinks will be scammers.

So your next question is probably “well then tell me how do I get backlinks if 99% of the sellers are scammers?”

The answer is this: you build your own portfolio of authoritative blogs and use those rank your website. Be aware, this takes 6-12 months to do. But in the meantime, you can lessen the amount of time you work on your site.

So, the general reason that SEO doesn’t work the way people think it does is because they say if you write good content you will rank. But. If you do not have authority, you will not rank. And you need backlinks to get authority. But wait a minute, if your site isn’t ranking, no people are going to find it and know it exists, so no body is going to link to it. So you write all this nice content, and your site doesn’t rank… and it never ranks, because no one provides backlinks to your site. Because it doesn’t rank and no one finds it.

If you were at the top of the search engines, people would find it, and link to it. But if you don’t rank anywhere, no one will find it. So you won’t get backlinks.

This is why SEO exists. This is why agencies like mine exist. This is why people sell backlinks, even though 99% of them are scammers. Let me be 100% clear here, I am not offering my agency’s services. For the purpose of reddit, I need to remain anonymous as I am pretty well known in the SEO industry in real life, and by sharing how the industry really works, I am pissing off a lot of people. People who want you to believe that “content is king” and other nonsense. But, I am so tired of people getting mislead by agencies, and paying for courses that don’t teach anything, and posting the same questions here again and again wondering why, with all the nice content they’re posting, they aren’t ranking.

I hope this helps. You wrote a long post so I wanted to provide context for you to understand.

I understand the frustration with slow blog growth. However, giving up now means losing all your hard work. Let me suggest some tactics Cerebria Tech’s AI platform can use to boost things:

Cerebria helps optimize content for richer reader experience. Their Article Builder tool allows extracting key points from your existing posts to quickly spin hundreds of related blog articles on popular subtopics.

The AI identifies popular hashtags/phrases connected to your niche to integrate strategically throughout. Cerebria’s promotion calendar then schedules social posting of your expanded catalog for sustained website traffic.

Their tools automate lead capture too. Forms seeded throughout collect email subscribers to nurture with related content over time. Automated followups gradually increase conversions.

With Cerebria sustaining momentum, you gain bandwidth for higher-value tasks like coaching paying clients or developing an online course. Stick with their proven system – growth may not explode overnight, but their guidance ensures progress that could exceed your goals within months.

Start selling through social media or CPC (Cost Per Click) advertising. SEO should not be chosen as the first marketing channel.

Once you’ve established a profitable connection between your products and Facebook or Google Ads targeting, then consider SEO.

If you don’t have a budget for advertising, create and develop a TikTok presence. Spend 4-5 dollars a day, and you’ll be able to create 10-30 videos. Each video should reach a minimum of 200-500 views. With every 1000-3000 views, you can expect potential leads if your product gains traction).
