    Hey everyone!

I’m pretty new to the whole social media marketing scene and could really use some guidance. I’ve been trying to get a handle on everything, but I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed. Thought I’d reach out here for some advice from the pros!

    Here’s what I’m curious about:

    • Tools: What are your favorite tools for managing social media? I need something for scheduling posts, checking analytics, and engaging with followers.
    • Strategies: Any tips or strategies you swear by for boosting engagement and growing a following?
    • Challenges: What are some common challenges you face, and how do you overcome them?
    • Trends: Are there any new trends in social media marketing that I should be aware of?

I’d really appreciate any advice, resources, or personal stories you can share. Thanks so much!

Do you have a Facebook account? I came from traditional marketing back in the day. I did not know anything about SEO/copywriting like a pro PR person. The 5 ps of marketing. People, Place, Product, Price, Promotion. In school, I had to write my own marketing plan for a company that wasn’t born yet. I learned about B2B or B2C back in 2004. If I could go back in time I would learn all the available social media channels even search engines are best for boosting your ranking. Facebook has amazing meta data you can use to your advantage. It posts to multiple channels across online. Except Twitter or TikTok I think? Look at Youtube shorts which is great for going viral. I’ve been testing new things for my brand. Best of luck to you.

Each of your questions does not have a single answer, because the tools, trends and strategies can be different for each profile. There are too many additional factors in Instagram promotion, from geo to the platform itself, which can affect your strategy.

If we talk about general recommendations, it is first of all an analysis of your niche and your competitors. The more you study, the more you understand what kind of content your target audience interacts with and why. Here you can also use the Snoopreport Instagram Activity Tracker. This is a tool that allows you to add any public profiles to track, such as followers of similar profiles, and receive reports on which hashtags and publications they like, as well as their interests and new followers. This can help you understand what hashtags to use and what content strategy to adopt to get into the recommendations of your potential followers.

Unfortunately, I don’t know of similar apps and tools for other social media, as I only do business on Instagram, but I think you get the idea.
