I've really been struggling to find a good company to do the seo for my website. I've been through like 3 in 4 years and my organic rank is still crap. Anyone have any recommendations for a good company?

I own a landscape design build company in the Philadelphia suburbs.

Send your website’s URL, I’ll review it and can help you with some points to help you achieve better optimization.

    One important point –
If someone promise you that you’ll rank 1-3 in no time, generating 50% more traffic per year consistently – he is BSing you.

Also, what is your budget for that? Pm me if you want, I may help you find a good agency.

I’ve had good experiences with HigherVisibility and Victorious SEO. Another approach is to look for smaller, local agencies with good reviews. They often provide more personalized service.

Just note – do not take a reference from Reddit without thorough examples of RELEVANT clients they’ve worked with and done well.

Landscape design as a whole would be difficult… Namely, as I also live in PA, you have TruGreen, etc. who run the market. However, I would focus on local SEO… Drop the blogs as I don’t ever think anyone would read them. Build out different dynamic pages that follow people. I live in Wilkes-barre, so maybe if I visited your site, everything should be curated to “Wilkes-barre” not Chester, etc.

Also, get established on all directory pages. Google my business, yelp, etc. Doesn’t matter if you don’t use them, take the back link.

Finally, I’d say get active on social media — it’ll populate in the search results.

Hey man, DM me your website and google business profile. I`ll do some audit and check what the other companies did for you. Can you share with me what are the services that you hired from them? Citations? Backlinks? What were your expectations? Because anyone that might have said that guarantee a rank #1 is lying. I always recommend a multistrategy with SEO and social media to give a solid brand foundation. u/Complex_Ad_3063

Going to echo the others and offer to check your site. I own Starboundseo.com and am happy to take a look.

That being said, when you pick an agency you should be sure that there is clear transparency. Are they making specific promises? For example promising to get you x amount of leads or pages ranked? Then not telling you how they will do it, not to mention not delivering.

What does the reporting look like? Is there an open line of communication for you to ask questions ?

Watch out for SEO’s promising results in an unrealistic timeframe. But also it depends on what stage your site is at right now. You might be close to ranking or might not. What is your site? I can take a look and give you a quote

Hey. Can you send your website URL so that I can take a look?
You may want to consider working with an individual one on one to take a good look at what has been happening with your SEO campaigns done all this while.
Having realistic objectives and expectations in the SEO game is gonna be something you should understand. It takes a whole lot of patience to steal the show in SEO but it’s got long-term rewards.

I’m local to you and run a boutique SEO agency. We’ve helped multiple businesses increase rankings by addressing technical issues on their site, optimizing their Google business profiles, creating high quality blog content, building citations, and monitoring performance data to adjust accordingly.

I’d be happy to take a look at your site to identify the best strategies for your business.

You’ll need to check the following:
    – is your site analytics installed properly?
    – has there been changes in the search results? Are product listings appearing on top of organic results? Etc.This could impact the number of clicks your site can get.
    – do you have site crawling issues? E.g. Google can’t crawl site coz of blocked pages in robots.txt, canocalization issues, refirects, etc.
    – are your content following Google guidelines? E.g. No Duplicate or identical content with another site, content matching search intent, no overoptimized pages, etc.
    – is your Google Business Profile optimized? Since your business is local. Like having the correct categories, descriptions, consistent business name, address, & phone, having quality photos and videos, etc.
    – have your removed low quality or toxic inbound links?
