    Here’s the deal,
I’m currently a social media coordinator for a rising cpg brand, I get paid $44,100 a year, my commute is about 15 mins.
I have recently been approached by a manger to apply for their job starting at $60,000, same title, different industry. The duties are similar to what I have done before, just for a different type of workplace, and the benefits are similar as well. It would be an hour commute there, so two hours each day; but it’s hybrid so I’d only go in mwf.

Also, I have recently asked for a raise at my current job and am hoping to get anywhere between $50,000-$53,000.

If everything falls together and I get both the raise and the job, should I stay or leave? Should I use this other job to try to negotiate more?

I honestly like my job and am leaning towards staying, but just want some other opinions unless I miss anything important.

What would you all do in my situation?

Job loyalty is overrated but decide based on which one values you more. Job retention budgets are always lower than hiring budgets so switching jobs will increase your salary a lot quicker than internal raises.

A raise of that much would come with a promotion in title, no?

Leave. That’s a guaranteed $20k pay jump with benefits. You will get used to the commute.

My advise is to spell “advice” correctly when you post at you’re new company.
