Need job advise!
Here’s the deal,
I’m currently a social media coordinator for a rising cpg brand, I get paid $44,100 a year, my commute is about 15 mins.
I have recently been approached by a manger to apply for their job starting at $60,000, same title, different industry. The duties are similar to what I have done before, just for a different type of workplace, and the benefits are similar as well. It would be an hour commute there, so two hours each day; but it’s hybrid so I’d only go in mwf.Also, I have recently asked for a raise at my current job and am hoping to get anywhere between $50,000-$53,000.
If everything falls together and I get both the raise and the job, should I stay or leave? Should I use this other job to try to negotiate more?
I honestly like my job and am leaning towards staying, but just want some other opinions unless I miss anything important.
What would you all do in my situation?
