Need Help with Setting Up Google Ads for B2B Business – First Time Setup

Posted by Admirable_Car3425 on August 13, 2024 at 3:37 am

I'm new to Google Ads and I’m setting it up for the first time for a B2B business which sells nozzles and systems for spraying. What are the key steps I should take when setting up Google Ads for the first time, especially in a B2B context? How do I go about researching and selecting the right keywords for a B2B business?
I’m super confused about how payments are charged in Google Ads. I’ve told my managers based on articles I read online that any unused money can be refunded. Can someone clarify how the billing works? I have a proposed budget of $25 per day..
and lastly how do I track the success of the google ads campaign?

Thanks in advance <3 Much appreciated 🙁

You have to add your billing method with Google Ads and then you have to add money to your Google Ads account.

And if you want to get good results from Google ads, then I suggest you hire a Google ads expert. Because it seems, you are new in this field. And it doesn’t work like that you just starting the campaign and then your results will come

There are two options for billing, and payment: prepaid from debit card that is topping up let’s say $1,000, in which case nothing is ever refundable, if spending $1, $999 remains available to spend on ads but never can be withdrawn to the card that paid it in. Option two is connecting the credit card to the spending account. Until recently charging was done in $200 and $500 increments for beginner accounts, now they are rolling out billing at the end of the calendar month.
In which case again there is nothing to refund since what is spent is owed and charged.

You need to add a tracking through ur website. They give u a code to add to ur website, so when a sale goes through it keeps a track of it.

I propose creating a Reddit checklist on how to set up an ad and optimize it on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
