I have 10,000 plus subscribers but don’t know how to take benefit of it. I tried mail chimp once but couldn’t understand how to set it up. The main problem I faced while creating company news letter. I wanted to design an eye catching newsletter which will be sent automatically every month about most recent blog posts on my website. Any help will be appreciated!

That’s great, but why are you posting on the SEO community, as opposed to maybe “The Digital Marketing” community. Email Marketing is not traditionally considered part of S.E.O, search for “Email Marketing Reddit”, and you might find better answers and information.

I am a creative person and I know the urge to design something eye catching. But I’d advise you to get the ball rolling by sending a very genuine first email with appealing copy writing (tell a story) that tells them what value you are going to offer over the next couple of emails.

So the important part you should focus is the ‘message’. Message consists of two things, headline and body.

Also to visualize long-term email marketing strategy you can think it like a web series.

Sending a newsletter that is your blogs that are already posted on your site is a sure way to get people to unsubscribe. If they have been to your site then they have seen that. You need to create some original content to make them want to stay subscribed. Use the newsletter for things like commentary or things related to what your site is about. Supplementary info. You can put a sidebar on it that has the titles and links to your blogs but re-posting is going to turn people off.

Email copywriter here. My simple advice for you getting started quick.

Don’t worry about design. Just write a letter like you would to anyone by email.

Write to a specific person. This is easiest if you actually know a specific person who uses your site. The idea is to write like you’re writing to one specific person you know well.

Just start. Tell people what you want to be doing with your email. Tell your story. Tell other stories. Be human. Invite people to reply and interact.

Start emailing once a week, then you can either learn yourself and upgrade your strategies and techniques from there, or bring someone on to ramp it up for you.

Depending where you are in the world – make sure you have permission to send emails to the lists that you have – GDPR is a bitch.

10,000 plus subscribers is very impressive. MailChimp is great, and probably the easiest to use service out ther – but you’ll need to pay a monthly fee.
