And about 10-20% likes from those views.

I just don’t get it. I’m posting high effort, vertically optimised, call to action included, 2-4 keywords picked and trending music picked in background. I’m doing everything BY THE BOOK.

I am using US IP via VPN, but maybe TIkTook doesn’t like VPN?

Maybe it knows I had non-US IP the first time I registered it?

Should I make a fresh new TikTok on a fresh new device with a private US VPN or private US proxy?

The same type of content hosted on bigger channels gets million of views, but I get 100? Like…wtf, and it’s good content that gets likes.

Take the ‘view’ count with a pinch of salt, go for engagement and don’t worry about numbers right now, just keep making good content and working on it

Are you getting any shares? Seems like tiktok prioritizes that. My brother had a few vids blow up in fyp and it started after he got shared.

Have you ever tried posting something no one on TikTok has ever seen before? Like say a Gorilla dancing with a bear? Or putting a pot on your head and dancing with steak wrapped around your hands and painting your body pink?

(Being totally serious – i’ll bet you $10 that if you put a pot on your head, tie steak to your hands, and paint your body pink and do TikTok videos you will get more views – you have 72 hours from this post to claim this offer. But the reality is you have to do something different, not just go with the pseudo-research data put out by a random social media influencer. Data and research can be helpful, but not for most people “just starting out” on social media trying to become an influencer)

That has more of a chance to go viral than 100 videos of yourself (unless you execute on those “by the book” ideas really well with those videos). And also, if anything, going by the book also means to find “unique” content. And none of us can know what you are doing.

Have you ever worked with a consultant to sit down and guide you?

Wear a crop top and make the viewer think there’s a chance your nipples will pop out
