Move blog into a subdirectory – penalized by Google?
Hey y'all!
I have a blog focused on LLMs which has gained some modest traction and ranking recently (1.5k unique views / month)
I'm ranking some of the keywords on the top 5 positions, which is great!
Now I want to leverage the same domain to launch some courses on LLMs.
My idea was to migrate the existing blog to a subdirectory within my domain, e.g. mywebsite/blog
The root domain would then point to my elearning courses.
Maybe a noob question – will this impact my SEO / is Google gonna penalize me for that?
Is there any way to achieve that which doesn't impact my rankings?
Last but not least – any other suggestions about my website are welcome 🙂
Thanks in advance!
