Most keywords rising incrementally, one is sinking like a stone
Hi,
SEO newbie here but learning (relatively quickly). So far I’ve mostly been doing a thorough audit and tidy up. Most of my work has been on the site generally as well as particularly tightening up the pages focused on the 4 main keywords i’m initially interested in.
They’re low competition & low volume but important to my business and working as a learning experiment for me. I’m having success with 3 of them.
position 101 now 15
position 28 now 6
position 28 now 20
But one has gone from 15 to 47 and just continues to steadily drop.
It seems strange that the general site improvements seem to have had a positive effect except on this one.
Is this common?
Is there anything specific I should look at?

yes this is common, google classifies a site and it seems they like you for your other content, not that one
can you see any reasons why?
