    You can use motion graphic templates for AE. And while it is intimidating, once you learn it’s basics you’ll have the capacity to do any effect – greenscreen, roto, animations and color correction.

    And there’s a huge amount of free plugins and tools and project files and tutorials for you.

    I recommend videocopilot.net free tutorials

    Unfortunately AE is the best tool available from Adobe for video – it has the core features for everything.

    What are you actually trying to make? Text based videos? Or?

    I mean, your best bet is to actually learn AfterEffects or Premiere Pro (with some basic motion graphics), it’s a far more useable skill set that’ll make you more valued to potential employers.

    That said, if you’re trying to make NowThis style videos with animations and transitions, there are platforms like Wibbitz that allow you to drag and drop your videos and copy paste text, and it’ll do everything for you.
