  Message response statistics on META

  Do the message response statistics on META serve any purpose? Because I am receiving a lot of spam on my FB page (17k followers, and we run a lot of ads), and the spam is lowering my response statistics. My client is quite alarmed by the situation. The question is whether the numbers in the message response statistics can negatively affect the page. Thanks
