  • Meet Edgar vs SmarterQueue: Which should I go with?

I run a content shop that has managed to grow without us doing any advertising or publishing of our own content. This year I plan on actually advertising, and of course publishing online and on social media is sort of important for a writing shop to include in its strategy.

Honestly, the thing that has held me back from advertising is that I suck when it comes to hiring and managing tech people. Which effectively has made publishing what we write ourselves incredibly difficult as I’ve looked for alternatives and tried working with the cheap coders I could afford.

I’m hoping that a tool like these will make it easy for me to get our content published online, as well as to plan out the flow of our readers through our content to our services, partners, and even client pages.

I believe that I’ve narrowed it down to these 2 options. They seem affordable, fairly simple to use, but I’m still gun shy on choosing one or the other. Would love to hear from the rest of you on these though.

May I ask you how many other tools have you tried? I am biased as I am part of RecurPost, but I know that there are better alternatives to those tools.

Can you tell me how did you decide that these two were your final options?

They both have their own problems and they both do what they claim to do.

    hi

this might be a bit bias because I’m part of Uniclix app, I would strongly suggest looking into uniclix which offers 30 days free trial.

if you are willing to use the platform as a beta tester I can offer you three months free trial, just send me a DM and will help you with account setup

I have tried both of these options as well as a ton of others. I manage not only my own fleet of social sites for my personal brand, but also those of my corporation, so I have tried everything looking for the most manageable solution.

I was with MeetEdgar for roughly a year and loved it. It was easy to navigate, worked well, and I loved the flexibility of their queues. When Twitter changed their rules a while back, MeetEdgar changed some of their Twitter posting policies and I went looking for other options. I found SmarterQueue and found a lot of the options that I loved in Edgar. The interface of SmarterQueue is a bit more clunky than Edgar, but I honestly cannot think of one thing that I could do in Edgar that I am not able to do in SmarterQueue. SmarterQueue has additional options that Edgar did not have at the time I was a member, such as finding content based on your previous posts or a topic of your choice, all within the SmarterQueue interface.

Ultimately, I enjoyed both programs, but SmarterQueue offers all the features I wanted for a cheaper price, so I am sticking with SmarterQueue.

    Hope this helps.
