Max length on title tags for SEO
Hello, everyone.
I am getting back into SEO and was wondering with all the recent SEO changes, especially with Google and their ranking factors, when creating a website and optimizing title tags, what is the total length of title tags with the new SEO ranking factors? I cannot seem to find the information in the Google Search Central documentation (formally known as Google Webmaster Guidelines). Thanks for your responses.

Short and meaning full title always good for SEO. Generally try to limit it within 60 to 70 characters and use other details (With targeted keywords) in description tag.

There is no character count. It’s based on pixels. Research has also shown that Google uses the entire title for indexing purposes, even if it goes long. So just make sure the part you want humans to see fits, but don’t cut the title short just so all of it displays.
